Kory grew up in small town Southern Oregon where he developed a passion for filmmaking. After getting his degree in Cinema Studies at the University of Oregon he moved to Los Angeles.
In LA, he worked primarily as an Assistant Director and PA for 8 years, gaining a variety of experience on some of the largest union sets, smaller indie projects and everything in between.
He worked as the 1st AD on the film "What Remains" in 2021 and on the film "Don't Get Eaten" in 2022. After learning from some of the best ADs while staffed on shows like "For All Mankind" and "St. Denis Medical", he moved to the greater DMV area to as a producer and AD in 2024. He is producer for a film by Coronation Media slated for production in late summer of 2025 called "The Shepherd".
