Vladimir Lisinac

Vladimir's path to filmmaking started in Krusevac, Serbia, where he learned English language by watching American cinema. At the age of 19 he moved to U.S. to pursue higher education while playing the game of basketball at NCAA Division I level. He found home at California Polytechnic State University where he majored in International Business Management earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2005. As a full time Cal Poly student-athlete in San Luis Obispo, from 2001 onward, he worked on honing his skill as a screenwriter and credits Robert McKee's 'Story' and Blake Snyder's 'Save the Cat' as most notable books for writing several screenplays which are optioned by Vladimir Lisinac Productions currently in development for production. In 2007, Vladimir formed Metakwon Filmworks alongside his brother and made his transition from Los Angeles to the San Francisco Bay Area to create balanced representation for young company's private equity pool of investors and raise a family. Brothers later changed the production company's name into today's Lisinac Bros. Productions. Vladimir brings his business savvy, creative spirit and financial expertise to filmmaking, where in 2013 he completed producing and executive producing 15-time award winning debut film, Along the Roadside. For his encore, Vladimir went back to his native Serbia roots and dared to join his brother Zoran (writer and co-director) in a mesmerizing impressionistic portrait of a legendary singer/songwriter Toma Zdravkovic in a terrific multi award winning movie Toma, which Vladimir was the Executive Producer of, in country's first ever biopic production about a non-ruler. Since its release September 15, 2021 movie Toma has become a cultural phenomenon in Southeastern Europe and dominated the domestic theatrical box office to the tune of over 1.2 million tickets sold which crowned Toma THE HIGHEST GROSSING movie in Serbian cinematic history. Along came Vladimir's third movie, an American movie extravaganza experience STORM RIDER, adventure/fantasy/sci-fi and the first installment of a magical story written and directed by Vladimir's brother Zoran, of which Vladimir is a financier and an Executive Producer of. Lisinac Bros. are in the finishing stages of around 1,100 VFX shots with CGI house and partner firm Pixemondo based in Santa Monica, California. Although post-production, the Storm Rider premiere is expected to be at the Cannes Film Market in May 2025. Vladimir has completed several works as a screenwriter, such as a western titled THE FASTEST GUN ALIVE, a drama AMERICAN WIDOW, and a historical epic titled DESPOT. Vladimir is actively pitching these three features for literary representation and studio funding.
