Nima Bank is a highly respected and seasoned figure in the fields of directing, advertising, and visual content production. With over 30 years of professional experience, he has built an impressive portfolio across television commercials, feature films, TV series, and independent short and feature-length films as both a director and producer.
Born in 1974 into a prominent family within the Iranian film industry, Nima was introduced to the world of cinema and arts from an early age. At just eight years old, he played the lead role in the theatrical production of The Little Prince on Tehran's major stages. By the age of sixteen, he had already become a still photographer in the film industry, earning the distinction of being the youngest member of the Iranian Alliance of Motion Picture Guilds. He also established himself as a successful actor, appearing in several highly popular television shows.
With a deep passion for directing, Nima began making short films and documentaries at the age of eighteen, some of which were funded by the United Nations Office in Iran. His documentaries received critical acclaim and earned him numerous awards from various film festivals.
In 1994, Nima officially began his career in producing and directing television commercials, quickly becoming one of the most sought-after and highly paid directors in the industry. In 2006, he founded Nimad Intl., a company named after his personal reputation and brand equity. Under his leadership, Nimad Intl. became the largest private TV production house in Iran, producing over 3,800 commercial projects and directly directing more than 1,400 TV commercials.
Committed to excellence and perfection, Nima recruited professional international filmmaking teams, making Nimad Intl. the first and only company in the Iranian advertising market to obtain both ISO 9001 and ISO 10002 certifications. His company successfully produced TV commercials not only in Iran but also in the UAE (Dubai), Turkey, Sri Lanka, and France.
In 2012, Nima established 360º Creative Solutions, a full-service ATL & BTL advertising agency. With cutting-edge technology and equipment, the company quickly became a leader in Iran's advertising industry, known for its innovation and creative approach.
Throughout his career, Nima Bank has received numerous prestigious awards, including Best Director, Best TV Commercial, and Best Visual Effects. In 2019, he directed Iran's first football talent show, "Setare Saz" (Star Maker). The show was a huge success, and many of the young talents discovered through this program have since become professional football players, joining top clubs across Iran.
In 2021-2022, Nima took on the country's largest band music competition, "Bandbazi", as director. Over one thousand bands registered, and 110 were selected to enter the audition phase. Hosted by renowned Iranian artist Omid Hajili, the competition was broadcast through Filmnet, a major VOD streaming platform in Iran. Nima Bank played multiple critical roles in this production, serving as the director, producer, and set designer. He famously described the show as "The Easiest Way to Stardom."
