Biography

Courtney is most known for her role as Finch in The CW's Legacies, the popular spin-off of The Vampire Diaries. She also recurred as the infamous character, Miko in The CW's hit series All American. From the producers of American Vandal and Players, she just wrapped the upcoming feature, Long Haired Businessmen, alongside comedy heavy hitters such as Rhys Darby (Yes Man, Flight of the Conchords, What We Do in the Shadows), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), Judy Reyes (Scrubs), and Dean Norris (Breaking Bad). She's the lead and titular role of Pastor's Kid, a gritty reinvention of the faith film genre which had its theatrical release in March 2024. She just shot a pilot with August Heart Films called Alask'Car, starring in company with Tom Arnold (True Lies), Jake Busey (Starship Troopers), Lucy DeVito (Little Demon, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Chris Wylde (The Duff), and Chaunté Wayans. Previously, she can be seen opposite India Eisley (I Am the Night, Underworld, Secret Life of the American Teenager), and Tommy Flanagan (Gladiator, Sons of Anarchy, Westworld), in Adolescence, from acclaimed writer/director Ashley Avis (Black Beauty) which premiered as the closing night film at Dances With Films in Hollywood, CA. Other credits include Sundance favorite, Miss Purple, from award winning director Justin Chon (Gook, Twilight), and SXSW and Outfest official selection Slash, starring Hannah Marks (The Amazing Spiderman, Dirk Gently), Michael Johnston (Teen Wolf), Michael Ian Black, Missi Pyle, and Angela Kinsey (The Office). She's classically trained from many of the Los Angeles greats. Lesly Kahn, Howard Fine (Uta Hagen), Marjo-Riika Makela (Chekhov), Tony Greco (Strasberg), and Fran Montano (Meisner), as well as various teachers in the Alexander and Linklater techniques. As an athlete, she has a background in Muay Thai and boxing with over 6 years experience and she's a 5-year practitioner of the 26+2 and Vinyasa yoga styles.
