David Goldblum

David Goldblum is the founder of Conscious Contact Entertainment, a studio focusing on stories that create impact on a global scale. Under his Conscious Contact Entertainment banner, Goldblum has been making a name for himself for his impact-focused storytelling. He produced the 2024 criminal justice system drama, Grassland, which is Executive Produced by Academy Award-winner Common, produced the 2022 sex industry film, Sell/Buy/Date, which is Executive Produced by Meryl Streep, and is a producer on Uvalde Mom, which premiered at SXSW 2025. Last year he signed a three-movie producing deal with Village Roadshow Pictures. He's currently in production on two documentaries: Big Rock Burning, chronicling his community of Big Rock in Malibu, which was nearly entirely decimated during the Palisades Fire; as well as an inspiring underdog documentary about a NBA legend. Goldblum was an Executive Producer on the 2024 Sundance short, Thirstygirl, and is producing an adaptation of the #1 New York Times Bestseller A Child Called "It" alongside Lightning Strikes Productions, Armory Films and Artemis Pictures. Additionally, he has worked in development for Participant Media, Stone Village Productions, and Paula Wagner. He was a graduate of the UCLA MFA Screenwriting Program, recipient of the UCLA/Participant Media Fellowship, a Telluride Film Festival Film Lab Fellow, recipient of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences Fellowship and was nominated for the Humanitas Drama Award.
