    • Caroline Hong Chu is a screenwriter, director and editor, born in London. She holds a Bachelor in Chinese, Masters' Degrees in Philosophy, Film translation, Film Production and Teaching French as a Foreign Language. In 2011, her first short film, The Miraculous Survivor of Saint Sauveur was selected by the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival. The same year, it screened at the American Cinematheque in Hollywood's Egyptian Theatre, and in 2012 it received an Honorable Mention from the Rochester International Short Film Festival. In 2012, Caroline wrote and directed the 26-minute film The Dragon and the Phoenix), which won Best Foreign Language Short at the Bare Bones Festival in 2015 and was selected for the American Online Film Awards in 2014. In 2013, Caroline made a 12-minute short, Comb Me. In 2014, she directed My Ideal Roommate, shot in two 8-minute versions, French and Chinese. Caroline has completed two documentaries: one about winegrowers in Sancerre and the other on Chinese workers in France during World War One. Her feature film Krank was released in France in 2018. She has co-directed a number of projects, and co-written a couple of scripts. She worked as a film studies tutor in a College in London and is a member of the British Film Editors.
