Sassan Saffari is a creative soul with a deep connection to the world of expression. Born and raised in Boston, MA, his upbringing was deeply influenced by his grandmother, Edith Conklin Weaver, a painter and poet whose love for art ignited his own passion.
His journey as an artist truly blossomed during his college years at MiraCosta College Theatre in San Diego. There, he honed his craft, earning scholarships and awards through the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. He had the honor of performing in over thirty productions, both professionally and within his college community.
His training continued at Steppenwolf West, who shaped his versatility as an actor. He was also invited to The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as a guest artist and award winner, a milestone that deepened his commitment to the craft. His story is one of exploration, driven by a love for art in all its form.
