Angela Chambers, an actress/model meshed singer-songwriter celebrated for her exceptional talents as
a flautist and mesmerizing vocalist, combines elements of Alternative Pop and
Rock, drawing inspiration from icons like Lana Del Rey, Annie Lennox, Rolling
Stones, David Bowie and Lady Gaga. Her music, written about everyday
experiences and matters of the heart, is brought to life by soulful and thought-
provoking melodies. Frequently traversing between the US and Germany,
Angela's career boasts remarkable achievements, including sync placements in
Vogue Arabia and CR Fashionbook, a beautiful cinematic single "Jumping The
Gun" featuring Casper Clausen, a collaborative album release as AC Meadows,
and a co-director/starring role in Future Islands' music video "Before The
Bridge"
Her journey began in Eastern North Carolina, a rural small town, where her
father's vinyl collection ignited her passion for music. Watching her father and
brother play the guitars, Angela was drawn to the world of melody and lyrics,
leading to her featuring as a backing vocalist in her brother's band.
After graduating from film school in Wilmington, NC, she ended up landing a
speaking role in a film out in San Francisco, which led her to drive across
country. Shortly after, Angela started performing in New York while also
working as a fashion model in the garment district and touring with her Italo-
Disco band, "Dust". She released two albums through Berlin's Mannequin label
and Low Life Inc. marking her early success. A one-way ticket to Europe
followed the bands second tour, leading to an artist residency in Berlin in
2013. She recently moved to LA, where she landed a speaking part in the new Timo Jacob's film "Impostors and Ponies" coming out in 2024.
