In his senior year at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, was the first place winner of the DTASC (Drama Teachers Association of Southern California) Fall Festival, Audition Monologues. Previous winners include Sally Field, Val Kilmer, Kevin Spacey and Cuba Gooding, Jr.

Performed his first equity show, "To Kill a Mockingbird" at the Asolo Repertory Theatre Playing Dill with fellow actor, and friend, Shanley Caswell in the role of Scout.

One of four brothers - Shane Ross, Ty Dane, and Tanner Reese.

After graduating from Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) in 2011 Chase was wait-listed for the prestigious University of North Carolina School of the Arts drama program but instead chose to continue pursuing his acting career while attending Santa Monica College.

At 13 years old published his first article in the St. Petersburg Times newspaper as a member of the X-press Team of teenage reporters.
