Stefano Milla began his career in Italy, working with top-tier advertising agencies where he developed both national and international campaigns for major brands including L'Oréal, Ferrero, Fiat. One of his most prominent collaborations was with Philip Morris, a partnership that granted him access to premier global events-from Formula 1 races to the world's most prestigious sailing regattas. As marketing regulations evolved, he smoothly transitioned into the fashion industry, applying his creative expertise to projects with leading fashion houses during the Milan and Paris collections. In the early 2000s, he started working as freelance with Discovery Channel as a Creative Editor, a role that saw him travel the world covering international sporting events. He remained in this position for over a decade. Despite his commercial achievements, cinema has always been his true passion. His filmmaking career began earning recognition in 1993 with awards at the Hannover and Torino Film Festivals. In 2006, he received the Kodak Showcase Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, followed by two David di Donatello nominations (the Italian Academy) for his debut feature film. His work is distinguished by its visual sophistication, epic narrative scope, and deep cultural resonance. Though he relocated to the United States more than twelve years ago, his roots continue to profoundly influence his artistic vision. Since 2009, his films have been distributed worldwide by major studios including Lionsgate, Sony, Studio Canal, and Vertical Entertainment. A recent highlight was the theatrical release of one of his films across the U.S.-a significant milestone in his career. His work is also featured on major streaming platforms such as Netflix, Paramount+, Hulu, AMC, and many others.
