Exclusive: John Rhys-Davies (Indiana Jones franchise) and up-and-comer Paris Brosnan (The Unholy Trinity) have signed on to star in Overhill Manor, a coming-of-age-comedy marking the feature directorial debut of Lance Clark.
Currently in production in Indiana, the film penned by Erica Leigh Dick follows the unlikely bond that forms between a troubled high school senior and a rebellious elderly war veteran. Set against the backdrop of Huntington, Indiana, it offers a fresh and funny take on how connection transcends generations.
Pic is the third feature from Forester Film, a production company affiliated with Huntington University. Produced by Matt Webb, Clark, and Isaac Norris, it also stars Bethany Ann Lind (Ozark), Eric Mendenhall (The Walking Dead), Cindy Jackson, Sophia Echendu, and Tyler C. Toney.

A Twitter exchange between actress Bethany Anne Lind and Tara Feldstein, the latter a principal at powerful southeastern U.S. company Feldstein|Paris Casting, has ignited a heated discussion on social media, releasing years of pent-up anger and frustration among actors in the region.
Some of the rancor has been addressed at Feldstein|Paris, accusing them for not negotiating fair pay for Southeast-based talent, but many of the comments also focused on the inequality built into the current Hollywood system that allows for actors in places like Atlanta to be paid significantly less than their counterparts with similar bodies of work based in Los Angeles or New York, and to never be offered more than the bare minimum “scale” rate regardless of experience.

Earlier this week Bww introduced you to the creators of the new webseries That's Educational.Created by Eric Mendenhall and Matthew Myers, That's Educational is a comic mocumentary web series about a traveling educational theatre. The story centers around the exploits of six actors and the company that sends them out on the road to use theatre as a way to teach young people valuable lessons 7 different shows, 267 dates a year. While the show itself focuses on the hilarity that ensues out on the road, it is also about the personalities of these characters and the idea that no one understands your misery more than people going through it with you.
