Meryl Jones Williams

Meryl (they/them) is a filmmaker, actor, and composer residing in Brooklyn. They were raised in New Jersey. They are most known as a director for their short films "Goldilocks" (Champs Elysees, The Hamptons FF), "The Love Spell", and "Dom". They had their break-out role in Rob Reiner's film, "And So It Goes," in which they worked across Diane Keaton. Since then they have been focusing on making their own work that centers queer voices and anti-patriarchal narratives with producing partner and collaborator Jane Stiles. Together they co-created Sweet Potato Productions and are currently developing their debut feature film "M + Z" in which they will star. They reside with their partner and experimental animator, James Thacher.
