As Mother of the Earth in the revival of Once on This Island, Newell filled the Circle in the Square Theatre with his bombastic and vibrant performance of “Mama Will Provide.” It’s a show-stopping moment that literally brought audiences to their feet in rapturous applause. And his co-star, Hailey Kilgore, should not be overlooked. Dead Weight is an indie post-apocalyptic thriller. This title has released today on DVD and Video-on-demand formats. Also, Dead Weight has participated in over twenty-two film festivals, receiving some praise. The film stars Joe Belknap, Mary Lindberg, Michelle Courvais and Aaron Christensen. The film begins and ends with Charlie Russell (Belknap). During a global pandemic, Russell is traversing Wisconsin, in search of his girlfriend. Ruthless Pictures has released the poster and trailer for it's upcoming thriller Dead Weight. Kino Lorber Films is releasing the movie on DVD and VOD on January 21st, 2014 through their Redemption label.

A festival and critic favorite, Dead Weight has screened at over 20 film festivals.

Pretty Little Liars has landed yet another hottie. (What are they putting in the water in Rosewood?!) Brandon W. Jones, who most recently played Ted Danson's son, Charlie Russell, on CSI, is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of the ABC Family hit series, we've exclusively learned. And he's taking on a role fans of the original Pretty Little Liars book series will definitely know...and fans of the couple known as Spoby (Spencer + Toby, duh!) may not like! Jones will take on the role of Andrew Campbell in Pretty Little Liars' 15th episode of the season, which is set to air when the series returns in early 2013. The name of the episode? "Mona-Mania!" The British Academy of Film and Television Arts announced Tuesday (April 24) the nominations for its 2012 television awards. British miniseries "Appropriate Adult," which chronicles the real-life serial killer Fred West, leads the way with four nominations.

Other notable nominations include Dame Maggie Smith up for Supporting Actress for her work on "Downton Abbey" - it's the only nomination "Downton" received, after earning two nominations the previous year. "Modern Family" also earned a nomination in the International category.
