Emmy winner Jeff Daniels is joining Shrinking‘s Season 3 cast, TVLine has confirmed. He will play Jimmy’s dad in a guest arc. Our sister site Deadline first reported the casting.

Scrubs 2.0 will not chalk the original series’ med school detour up to one of J.D.’s daydreams.

Unlike Roseanne and Will & Grace, which found clever ways to erase their divisive finales from series canon once they were revived, ABC’s in-the-works Scrubs redux will stay true to the developments of Season 9, which shifted gears (and locations) and focused on a quartet of newbies, including Season 8 holdover Eliza Coupe.

Across the past four seasons, Succession has given us plenty of memorable scenes and moments — but which ones stand out the most to the show’s cast?

Succession fans may have been devastated to hear that HBO’s Emmy-winning drama is ending after this season — but one cast member admits he was actually relieved.

“I was ready for it to be over,” Jeremy Strong, who plays Kendall Roy, tells TVLine in the above video. “Which doesn’t mean that I don’t experience it as a huge loss, and that I won’t miss what a gift that this has been.” But “I feel, in the best possible sense, a feeling of completion, and a feeling of the arc having run its course,” he shares. In the latest TV ratings, Survivor‘s three-hour finale event on Wednesday averaged 5.1 million total viewers and a 0.9 demo rating, down a tick from its previous December finale but delivering the night’s largest audience and tying Masked Singer in the demo.
