Biography

Terissa Kelton is an award-winning actress and producer whose work has been recognized globally, including at the Austin Film Festival and The Annecy International Film Festival. Kelton is the Co-Owner and Executive Vice President at Rehab Entertainment with her producing partner, John W. Hyde.

Most recently, she developed and produced 20 episodes of the animated series, Harriet the Spy, for AppleTV+ starring Beanie Feldstein and Jane Lynch.

Her development slate includes: Flight of the Navigator for Disney+ with Bryce Dallas Howard attached to direct; Prophet, based on the Rob Liefeld comic book, with Jake Gyllenhaal attached to star; In kids, The Kissing Hand and Lena!, both based on beloved children's books.

She is an active member of the Hollywood Radio Television Society; the Television Academy (Production Executive and Animation Peer Group); Children's Media Association; and Women in Animation.

Originally from Texas, Kelton starred in and produced several independent feature films in Austin. Kelton was a first-generation college student at Texas State University. Having grown up in a tiny Texas town, Kelton understands the hurdles of leaping into the unknown. Along with producing alongside brilliant creators from diverse walks of life, she spreads the message that it is worth arguing with the little voice inside your head that tells you "you don't belong here."
