Marvel Rivals is a great game and is perhaps the true successor to Overwatch – something that its sequel, Overwatch 2, failed to be. There’s a lot to like in the game, and despite its faults is an overall generally good package.
Indeed, Rivals’ strength lies in its diverse character roster. The main appeal of the game lies in its playable roster of heroes, villains, and anti-heroes. Each unit has been hand-crafted to have its weaknesses and strengths – which works out well for the most part.

However, there has been one problem that has been plaguing the game since its launch – the existence of bot lobbies, which frustrates players to no end.

It’s no secret that Marvel Rivals has a bot problem.

For those who dont know, John Stamos launched his acting career as the rebellious Blackie Parrish on General Hospital from 1982 to 1984. Around the same time, Demi Moore portrayed the iconic Jackie Templeton
While the two are now known to be close friends, their connection may have started with more than just sharing screen time. Both Stamos and Moore have alluded to the possibility of a brief, casual romantic “entanglement” during their early days on the show. Here is more on that!

Chase Icon is reveling in the excitement of her new album, Icon Baby — and delivering an equally effervescent video. The dance-pop star premieres the “perfectly unhinged” video for her single “Bands on Me,” starring trans porn star Brittney Kade and internet personality Elena Genevinne, with Rolling Stone.
Sam Fine, the video’s director, conceptualized the “Bands on Me” visual which captures Icon posing by a strip pole while Kade and Genevinne embody sexy dancers. In the song, Icon sings to a man willing to drop all the cash possible to...

L’Rain’s Taja Cheek keeps everything she records: a voice note she made a couple days ago, a demo she recorded back in high school, it doesn’t matter. It could be mediocre, mortifying, or just kind of good; regardless, it’s saved somewhere — because one day, it might be brilliant. “I try to operate under the philosophy that there actually aren’t any bad ideas,” Cheek tells Rolling Stone, “just bad executions.”

A new graphic novel pokes fun at a trope some readers have noticed over the years, that many Black superheroes like Static have a common superpower: lightning. Static, Black Lightning, Vulcan, Bumblebee, and Juice all have lightning abilities, and that's just the DC side of things. Name-dropping Marvel lightning specialists like Storm only lengthens this list more than it already is.
It's hard to pinpoint exactly how or why lightning powers are so prevalent among Black superheroes. The best explanation would be that several creators have attempted, in one way or another and for one reason or another, to duplicate the success of Black Lightning. This dates back as early as the conception of The All-New Super Friends Hour in 1977, where Black Lightning was originally supposed to be part of the team's line-up, but due to rights disputes between DC and the character's creator, Tony Isabella, a new character named...

As part of their new era, Captain Marvel's new Avengers roster are getting additional codenames. Carol Danvers, Iron Man, Sam Wilson's Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Vision, and Scarlet Witch are uniting to face down the mysterious Tribulation events. Sadly, these characters - all A-list names familiar to fans of the MCU - are also part of a larger game that they don't fully understand, with their new codenames speaking to Kang's plans for Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
In a trailer for Jed MacKay and C.F. Villa's Avengers #1, fans see the new team spring into action against Terminus, and each is introduced with their traditional and new codenames. Captain Marvel is 'the Star,' Iron Man 'the Engineer,' Thor 'the God,' Black Panther 'the King,' Captain America 'the Icon,' Vision 'the Construct,' and Scarlet Witch 'the Witch.' These codenames indicate how the characters are often seen,...

Despite having one of the most beloved and highest-grossing action stars, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, at the helm and a relatively incredible opening weekend (earning over 67 million - Box Office Mojo), Black Adam might be considered a flop for DC Studios. That’ll put in question the possibility of a sequel and the big fight between Black Adam and Superman that Johnson desires. Regardless, Black Adam did give the Dcu the Jsa, an alternative to the Justice League, to explore. Strangely enough, that’s where the Dcu has succeeded for many fans - delving into stories and characters outside the Justice League, like in The Suicide Squad or Peacemaker.
Should the Dcu manage to stay afloat as is n this moment of flux, they should return to stories featuring the Justice League while still introducing characters like Peacemaker who aren’t part of the team. Interestingly, there aren’t actually...

DC Comics teased at New York Comic Con 2022 that its Milestone line of comics would soon have a major impact on the main DC Universe's future. The Milestone Universe has long been home to some fan-favorite characters, and DC's revamped and refreshed takes on those characters have been taking center stage in the recent Milestone books. Now it looks like those books and stories are about to crash into the Dcu-proper in the coming year.
Milestone Comics, first launched in the 1990s to support and amplify underrepresented voices in comics, was relaunched in conjunction with DC Comics in 2021. With fresh takes on iconic '90s characters like Static, Hardware, and the duo Icon and Rocket, the new Milestone line has been met with joy from fans and praise from critics. The Milestone characters are usually at home in their own pocket universe known as the "Dakotaverse," where metahumans, aliens,...

New York Comic Con has announced its 2022 panel lineup, which includes a number of notable events taking place throughout the three-day convention.
Toplining the panels is a tribute to 45 years of “Halloween” and Laurie Strode with Jamie Lee Curtis, moderated by “Scream” star Drew Barrymore. The panel – which takes place Saturday, Oct. 8 – will find Curtis discussing her journey with the “Halloween” franchise up through the latest (and final?) installment “Halloween Ends.”
Nycc will also host the first-ever screening of “Violent Night,” a new film from director Tommy Wirkola (“Dead Snow”) that stars David Harbour as Santa Claus who takes on a crew of bad guys who aim to hold a family compound hostage. The movie hails from 87North, the producers behind “Atomic Blonde” and “Deadpool 2,” so hold on to your butts. The screening will take place the night of Friday, Oct. 7.
