Biography

    • Kate Lyn Sheil is an American actress known for her work in independent cinema. She has appeared in films such as You're Next (2011), V/H/S (2012), The Color Wheel (2011), The Sacrament (2013), and She Dies Tomorrow (2020). She has also been featured in television series like House of Cards (2013), The Girlfriend Experience (2016), and Outcast (2016). A graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, she has been praised for her performances in micro-budget films, with Rolling Stone dubbing her "the Meryl Streep of the micro-budget film community" after the release of Kate Plays Christine (2016). She has continued to take on a variety of roles in independent productions, including The Seeding (2023), which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
