Sreedevi is the writer of 'Rocketry' the Nambi effect which qualified for the Oscars First list 2023 and also won the best feature film Award 2023 by Govt of India.Hailing from a very orthodox and traditional Namboothiri family in Kerala, Sreedevi chose to pursue PG Diploma in Direction and Screenplay Writing from Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, even though she was a Civil Engineer by profession. The short films which she made as a part of her curriculum was in competition section of various Film Festivals including International Children's Film Festival of India, First National Students Film festival of India, Imagine India International Film Festival of Spain etc. After completing her course, she joined ace Bollywood Director Bejoy Nambiar as an associate and Screenplay Writer. She assisted Bejoy in the Thaikudam Bridge Musical 'Aarachar' and wrote the Additional Screenplay and Dialogues for 'Solo' a Malayalam feature starring Dulquer Salman and Flip, a web series for Eros International.
