Karel Schwarzenberg(1937-2023)

Karel Schwarzenberg was born on 10 December 1937 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was an actor, known for Europa (2014), Rok bez Magora, aneb génius se nedá padelat (2012) and Modrá krev (2017). He was married to Therese Hardegg. He died on 12 November 2023 in Vienna, Austria.

Karel Schwarzenberg is a Czech politician and the leader of TOP 09 party. He has been Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic since July 2010, and he previously held that position from 2007 to 2009. He served as a Senator from Prague from 2004 to 2010. In May 2010, he was elected a member of the Chamber of Deputies, gaining the largest number of preference votes. He was a candidate for President of the Czech Republic in the 2013 presidential election, and qualified for the second round. He ultimately finished second, receiving 45.19% of the votes.
