Nick Thompson is a filmmaker and photographer in his hometown of Seattle. He directed Skagit, an experimental thriller set in Washington State, which won Best Feature at Hastings Rocks Film Festival and Bleedingham Film Festival. His other work includes music videos, documentaries, experimental shorts, and a web series. Nick's work has been presented at The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, We Make Movies International Film Festival, and Northwest Film Forum, and he recently published Curveball Karaoke, his fourth photo book, featuring portraits of karaoke singers in Seattle. He's also a teaching artist in Seattle high schools through South End Stories. As of 2024, he's writing his second feature film.
