John C. Alsedek, along with business partner Dana Perry-Hayes, runs Blue Hours Productions, which specializes in retro-themed horror/sci-fi/fantasy for radio, TV and the Interweb.
The Harrisburg, PA-born Alsedek was introduced to the performing arts at a young age, growing up in a theatrical family. At age 8, he discovered 'The CBS Radio Mystery Theatre' and 'The Twilight Zone'- both of which proved to be lifelong influences.
He and Perry-Hayes produce 'Suspense', a revival of the classic Golden Age radio anthology series, which ran from 1942-1962. Now in production for its second season, 'Suspense' has already proven itself to be a worthy successor to the original show. Featuring all-new scripts done in a similar style, it has nonetheless forged its own identity; 'Suspense' has aired on more than 250 radio stations worldwide, and is a two-time Peabody Award nominee.
