Brooke Teal Robbins is a TELLY Award Independent Producer, Director, Filmmaker, Scenarist registered with Writers Guild of America West, Member of SAG-AFTRA, Member of ASCAP and Owner of UNIONindie.

Born in Burbank and raised in Santa Barbara, California. At the age of 11 she received the Santa Barbara Best Actress Award for her lead role in the musical Annie. At the age of 12 she made her Television debut on PBS, Sesame Street, when she was featured in "Swim Like Animals" and "Swim Like Sea Sea Lions" still featured on YouTube. She also received numerous positive reviews for her memorable public performances cast in various lead roles (i.e. The Mermaid's Tale, etc.) participating in Santa Barbara Community Theatre. At the age of 13 she was cast among many other teenagers in the Youth Ambassador touring musical PEACE CHILD International (Tours 1987 and 1988) where she became an activist advocating for issues regarding human rights as well as the environment locally and worldwide. In 1991 she received a full scholarship from Anna Strasberg to The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute of West Hollywood where she studied techniques of method acting. After a brief internship with a Radio Stations Broadcast Company (i.e. 101.7 FM, KISS FM, etc.), as well as producer of a live community TV show, she gained professional experience on set initially working as a Background Actress in both Film and Television (i.e. Dear God, Inventing The Abbots, Rush Hour 3, Steal Big Steal Little, The Fan, That Thing You Do, Grey's Anatomy, MTV Grind, Power Rangers, The Mindy Project, Baskets, Superstore, Adam Ruins Everything, The Grinder, Grace and Frankie, Bombshell, etc.). In 2003 she became a Member of ASCAP. In 2006 she directed Jeff Bridges in a documentary and PSA for an NPO as well as graduated from ArtCenter College of Design with a BFA in Film. In 2007 she became a Member of SAG-AFTRA. In 2008 she received a TELLY Award for producing a Mag-Lite commercial. In 2015 she became a Theatrical Motion Picture Nominating Committee Member for The 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2016 DELL, in association with Adrian Adrian Grenier, listed her as a finalist Filmmaker in The Legacy of Good Short Film Documentary Contest. In 2018 she filed LLC registration with the California Secretary of State, an Independent Film Production Company entitled UNIONindie, influenced by SAGindie, as Founder and CEO.
