Mattias Olsson is the founder of documentary film streaming platform Campfire Stories, whose aim is to inspire change towards a future in ecological balance. He's directed and produced over twenty films along with several podcast episodes for the platform.
Before his full time commitment to film activism, he worked as a director and producer in the regular film industry, co-producing five documentaries with Swedish national television (SVT) and having several of his films screened at film festivals all over North America and Europe.
Olsson has a background as a still photographer and was based in New York for 13 years where he shot editorials for many high profile magazines and ad agencies.
Today he lives in the countryside in Sweden where he's simplified his life, dividing his time between making films and tending to his garden.
