Currently based in NYC, Nancy Nagrant is an award-winning Actor and Producer best known for The Equalizer (CBS), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Amazon Prime Video), Law & Order: SVU (NBC), and Miracle Baby (2020).
Born and raised in Michigan, she received her BA in theater performance with a minor in psychology from Western Michigan University. Early NYC years were spent in the Off-Off-Broadway scene (think Dixon Place, Gene Frankel, The Kraine) with an emphasis on developing new work. Nancy's television career started with a role on Season 1 of House of Cards (Netflix) in a scene with Kevin Spacey.
She produced Miracle Baby (2020), in which she also starred, alongside Stephen Kunken (The Handmaid's Tale (Hulu), Billions (Showtime)). The film was written by Steven Fechter (The Woodsman (2004)) and directed by Michelle Bossy (Under the Lantern Lit Sky (2021)), both of whom she met working on theater projects. Nancy's films have played at major film festivals - including Academy-Award qualifiers St. Louis, Woodstock, Reel Sisters, and LA Shorts - and have collected nearly 85 official selections, 20+ awards, and an additional 30+ nominations.
Nancy currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband, an animator. She loves travel, especially to the sea, and is an avid snorkeler and a PADI-certified scuba diver. Nancy is a 20+ year yogi, and has been practicing Vedic Meditation every day for over a decade.
