Bryan Kaplan was born in New Jersey. A stage and film actor and graduate of the British American Drama Academy in association with The Juilliard. In New York he trained with highly regarded acting teacher/coach Penny Templeton. Bryan starred in the critically acclaimed three time Best Feature Film Fray (2014) Fray is the story of Justin, who is a Marine Veteran returned home from war. Bryan also received "Best Lead Actor" award presented by the Brooklyn Film Festival for his work in the film. The LA Times said, "Superior..Deserves attention...Kaplan comes off so convincingly, it's not unfair to wonder if he's truly an actor (he is)." Fray hit Amazon's Top 15 War & Military film list.

He also received critical acclaim for his work on stage in New York, Edinburgh, and in London. His starring role as Tony in a play called EightyThree Down garnered 6 critic choice nominations in New York and compared him to Brando in "A Street Car Named Desire". In the UK he received rave reviews for a play called "Knuckleball" from it's run in the Edinburgh Theatre Festival and in London.

Currently Bryan stars in Perry King's The Divide, a feature length western that recently screened at Cannes 2018 and has already garnered 15 film awards. He resides in Los Angeles frequents New York to work on stage.
