- Theater, film, and television actor Jonas Cohen was born in Merrick, NY. Following graduation from Hofstra University he attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln earning his MFA in acting. He later completed the 2-year professional Meisner training program with Bill Esper at the William Esper Studio in New York, and went on to study with famed acting teacher Wynn Handman.
He worked in the fitness industry, the health insurance industry, the garment center, in restaurants, and as an acting teacher for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and American Ballet Theater, while booking lots and lots of regional theater work across the country, off and off-off Broadway. He has been seen in episodes of Blue Bloods (2016), Mr Robot (2019), Law & Order SVU (2019), The Deuce (2019), and Succession (2019).
