Tony recently filmed with Discovery at what was once a psychiatric asylum with over 2,000 patients in London, UK. He knew the place well as his late mother was on the medical staff. Because of this, Tony has a deep interest in how the mentally ill have been treated in the past and today.

As a teenager, Tony was a massive fan of ska and 2Tone in the early 1980s and thirty years later got to write the biography of his hero Neville Staple, vocalist in The Specials telling the story of that legendary band.

Tony's great great uncle Lieutenant Francis McEnhill was an Irish emigrant to the United States who joined the US Cavalry and fought in the Spanish-American War in Cuba and the Philippines sadly dying young from the effects of yellow fever. He talked about Francis in a documentary on how the cure for yellow fever was discovered.
