Biography

    • Striking Texas character actor, Colton Tapp, was born in Wylie, TX and spent his early years on a small cattle ranch outside of Dallas. He is the youngest child of Choya Tapp, a businessman, and Alexis Tapp, a singer-songwriter. He has one older brother. Tapp pursued an interest in acting at an early age, taking on roles in community theater. He took a liking towards film acting, however, after acting in small commercials and skits throughout his years of education. In the following years, he continued to take on various lead roles in commercials, short films and indie films.

He took on the break-out role of Liam in the ensemble cast of "Three Days in August" (2016) alongside Barry Bostwick, Mariette Hartley and Meg Foster in a family drama. Following this, he starred in sci-fi thriller, "Expulsion (2020)", where Colton stars as a double-lead, playing two versions of Scott from alternate universes alive in the same universe, where he received a nomination for best actor at the Los Angeles Film Awards. One film reviewer thought twins were cast for the role.

During this time, he became the face of PogoCam, a tech-eyewear company, in one of Facebook's most viral marketing campaigns of all time, reaching 20M views in a matter of days. He also produced and acted in a couple of his own independent, award-winning short films, including "2% Evil", a fun horror about an evil cow taking the lives of non-vegans in a small town and "The Precinct", a mockumentary about police detectives.

In 2019, he was cast as John Wilkes Booth in "The Ghandi Murder", starring Steven Lang and Vinnie Jones, about India's revolutionary thought leader and it's parallels to American revolutions.

Colton took a role on "Walker" on The CW, (2024) as Frank Delmonico, Italian Drug Kingpin and is a cast-member on upcoming series and films set to release in 2025-2026.
