Biography

Born and raised in California. After graduating with a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2000, she enrolled in her first acting class at Palomar College in Escondido where she found her passion. She continued taking classes, but it wasn't till 5 years later when she mustered the courage to audition. Slowly, but surely, she gained valuable experiences & minor credits. Upon retiring from the Dept. of the Navy as a Supervisory Accountant, GS-13 in Jan 2012, she obtained a LA commercial agent and lived part-time in LA for 11 mos. commuting from San Diego during which she booked a commercial, print work, and a Katy Pery music video! She also did background work for Young & the Restless and Days of Our Lives. However, in 2014, she no longer wanted to commute and instead wanted to spend more time with her nieces and nephews and celebrate their lives. Life's too short and family is everything.

Soon after deciding to longer commute to/from LA and spend more time with family in 2014, she realized that she still possessed a passion for acting. Thankfully, she found some theatre acting classes at San Diego community colleges even though she didn't want to do theatre before, but she gained a newfound respect and joy for "theatre" acting. With improved acting skills and renewed confidence after doing a number of fun showcases, she was cast in several 10-minute plays in the annual Playwrights Festival. In her first year in the Festival, she won "Best Actress" for her role as a mime. She did a few stage readings and was selected to join a senior acting troupe that performs periodically for senior communities in San Diego. She is so grateful for the opportunities in San Diego that she hadn't realized existed before. In 2016, she started taking film classes again which lead to participation in a 48-hour film festival and an independent feature film that will finish shooting end of Nov 2017. She couldn't be happier in her "retirement" to be able to do what she loves to do IN San Diego. She'll go to LA, BUT it will have to be on HER terms!!
