Chris Vander Kaay is a filmmaker, author, marketing consultant, and former screenwriting professor. He was born in Easton, Maryland. His first script, a western called The Redemption of Henry Myers, was produced and premiered on the Hallmark Movie Channel in 2014. He has written several nonfiction books about the history and philosophy of genre film.
