Lara Jean Mummert, also known as Lara Jean Sullivan, is a Director, Producer, and Choreographer. She was born in San Francisco, CA. She spent most of her early years training and performing as a dancer at Alonzo Kings Lines Ballet, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. At the age of 12 she was assisting world renowned choreographers, Brian Friedman, Mia Michael's, Sonya Tayeh and many more. At 17 she received a performance scholarship from the prestigious Purchase Conservatory in New York. Upon graduating she got her first start in the theatre industry, Puppeteering, singing and performing as Elmo for Sesame Street Live. While touring she was asked to choreograph for Alexander McQueen at the Metropolitan opera. Since then Lara Jean has been making a quiet name for herself in the industry, working around the world on various projects, with many artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Paris Hilton, Darren Criss, Paula Abdul, Lindsay Lohan and many more. In 2025 alone, she has won 9 Best Choreographer Awards and 12 Best Actress Awards.
