Biography

Paul Snider is a prolific award-winning film and television actor, having appeared in over 80 short films, movies, television episodes and TV/Internet commercials. When not acting he's turned his hand to directing. Most notably his work has won Best Director awards at The Creative Arts Film Festival and an Award of Excellence in Filmmaking at The Royal Reel Awards.

Paul began his acting career in musicals and theatre productions, winning a Thea Award for his performance in The Boys Next Door. In 2008, after a successful business career in technology which garnered him Business in Vancouver's Top 40 Under 40 Award, he opened his entertainment production company Born To Fly Entertainment which produces film, music and theatre projects. Among his many film projects, he wrote his musical 'The Curtain/ and produced a full-cast CD recording. He created his touring musical show 'The Music of Junk', an orchestra composed of invented original instruments he built from recycled materials. In 2018 Paul released his solo folk rock music CD album 'The Letter'. His new solo music show is called the Orchestra of Sound which makes its debut in 2023. His short film Solo Duet has won various awards including Best One Person Show/Solo Sketch at the All The Laughs Comedy Awards. This film was an official selection in over 10 comedy film festivals.
