A Graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts who was raised in south London had his breakthrough performance in the stage play White Boy at The Soho Theatre in 2007 that had so much success it was brought back for a second run in 2008. Currently Obi is the lead actor in the short film The Right Choice a sci-fi which has been selected for The Sundance Festival 18 and the Pan African Festival therefore qualifying for an Oscar.
