Nicholas "Zack" Heart, born in Melbourne, Australia is a Professional Actor and seasoned Television Host known for his intense portrayal & exciting to watch characters. His unique essence sticks with you. Heart is primarily cast as lead antagonist aka bad guy. An extremely versatile actor capable of playing any character. Despite his experience & range he continues weekly acting coaching keeping clear sights on being amongst the great Oscar winners. Heart currently has multiple projects in production.
Heart is trained under the Chubbuck Technique. He is also recognized as a Producer, Writer, and Stunt-actor that performs his own stunts as the characters he plays. He is also a Wildlife Expert, Trapper & Relocator, Conservationist, races Porsche and is the owner of a wildlife removal, exclusion & relocation company called Outbackzack's Nuisance Animal Removal in Big Bear, California. In his spare time he body builds, races Porsche, rides horses, and spends time with his family.
Early Life
Heart was born in Australia to parents Janice Isabel, an Art Teacher and Fashion Designer, and Ian Arthur a Ranger with Australia's Fisheries & Wildlife Division, Victoria. He was a student of North Melbourne Institute of TAFE studying Zoology, Conservation Biology & Drama with further studies in Ethology & Wildlife Management like his father. Heart was a talented a talented athlete playing baseball for the Fitzroy Lions in Melbourne Australia & achieved a Golf handicap of 4 at age 17. Heart's primary interest and passion was animals & spent much of his childhood working in the field with his father. He moved into the Television & Film industry at 17, becoming a Professional Stuntman and classically trained actor. Heart was trained under the Sanford Meisner acting technique by Vikki Blanche, & John Orcsik at The Australian Film & Television Academy. His first on air role was as the cheeky character "Mackay' in the hit Australian series Blue Heelers where he wore a huge black and blonde mohawk. Following this he worked on international soap favorite Neighbours, & ABC programs Correlli & Janus. Heart went on to work alongside Nicolette Sheridan & Gil Bellows in the US Feature Film Silver Strand. Following this he played the role 'Skinny' an interesting skinhead in Australian Feature Film "Crackers" where he performed a flying stunt off the roof of a moving vehicle which was noted as "remarkable".
Outback Zack and Wildlife Conservation
Aka Outback Zack, Heart is also known for playing the Crocodile Dundee / Steve Irwin like character, Outback Zack hosting wildlife Television shows and his work in Wildlife Conservation. Heart has been the host of Planet X TV's Weekly show for multiple seasons. He starred in Outback Zack's Australian Animal Fire Victims Appeal which he wrote, produced, funded and hosted. The 1hr Television Special raised nearly $500,000 U.S. Dollars, for the non-profit animal rescue organization Wildlife Victoria airing in both Australia and the United States. Heart has been helping wildlife organizations globally for many years.
With a deep sense of compassion for animals, Heart's priority was always to be a voice for them. Nicknamed Outback Zack for his work with animals and being down under, the character was established and developed in 2004 in The Outback Zack Travel Show shot in Cairo & Turkey.
Heart has put his heart & soul into the study of animals clocking up thousands of hours of field work, observation & study of unique species around the world. With the popularity of Outback Zack and his inspirational work with animals, Heart was requested to make numerous guest appearances on popular U.S. talk shows such as The Daily Buzz Show in Florida, KUSI News, Malaysia's Lite FM, the Nightwatch Show to name a few. From Outback Zack's animal work and TV appearances he caught the attention of U.S television producer Donald Durban from Planet X TV, the creative mind behind the Jack Hannah animal series. Heart began hosting episodes of Planet X TV and starring in American vehicle commercials.
