Daniel Nayeri

Daniel Nayeri was born in Iran and spent some years as a refugee before immigrating to Oklahoma at age eight with his family. He is the author of award-winning and bestselling novels, including "Everything Sad Is Untrue (A True Story)", winner of the 2021 Printz Award, the Christopher Medal, the Middle Eastern Book Award, and many others. He is the co-founder of PlotNaut, and the former founding-publisher of Odd Dot, an imprint of Macmillan Children's Publishing Group.
