Chris was born in Manly, a popular and relaxed coastal suburb across the
bay from one of the most iconic cities in the world. From the North Head, the
Sydney skyline is clearly visible in the distance, with the world famous
Harbour Bridge and Opera House only a short ferry ride from the Manly
wharf. Just prior to Chris' 4th birthday, his family moved to the tropical paradise
of Cairns, a small tourist town in the far north regions of Queensland. Cairns is
renowned for its picturesque and post card perfect beaches, breath-taking islands,
untouched rain forests, spectacular waterfalls, large saltwater crocodiles, and most
notably, the Great Barrier Reef. Millions of international travelers from the far corners
of the globe have ventured through Cairns on their way to marvel at one of the 7
natural wonders of the world.
Chris was exceptionally athletic from the beginning, excelling in all sports growing up as a child. He was particularly skilled in soccer, cricket and track & field disciplines amassing many athletic records in his age groups as he grew. He was dominant in events such as the 110-metre hurdles, 100, 200 and 400 metre sprints, 800 and 1500 metres, and remarkably, 5k & 10k marathons as well. Several of these records still stand today decades later. Spending most of his life near the water, Chris is also a very strong swimmer and free diver, and is generally outstanding in all watersports.
As Chris entered his late teenage years, and much to his parents' detest, he traded in his running shoes for the lifelong lure of motorcycles. Working several jobs after school he saved up enough money to procure his first motorbike, a 400cc Honda, teaching himself to ride as he brought it home. At the suggestion of his vastly more experienced riding mates, within months Chris began roadracing at the local circuits. He immediately impressed, achieving podium finishes on stock machinery in only his second race. Soon wins and sponsorship arrived and before long international opportunities took Chris overseas.
While an accomplished rider on anything with two wheels and also jet skis, Chris is a highly skilled driver as well, having spent time in the driver's seat of V8 Supercars back home in Australia in between racing seasons abroad. Chris has also worked as a freelance moto-journalist for over half a dozen automotive online and print publications in addition to instructing students at several motorcycle and automotive racing schools on how to become faster. Chris has heaps of time behind the wheel of Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Audi's, Porsche's, Mercedes, McLaren's, and many other racing machines.
2007 found Chris on holiday at Walt Disney World in Florida where he witnessed a live stunt show with motorcycles, cars and jet skis, and also stage fights, high falls and pyrotechnics. He submitted his resume and was invited to audition for Disney's "Lights, Motors, Action" Extreme Stunt Show the following year. He was hired and found his start into the world of stunts. After spending three years in Orlando learning his new craft, while also working on large productions in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, and Washington D.C., in 2010 Chris relocated to Los Angeles to further pursue his stunt career after he auditioned and was subsequently hired for the "Waterworld" stunt show at Universal Studios. Chris was the sole jet skier and 1 of 3 new hires picked from a crop of over 300 hopefuls.
Since then, Chris has worked all over the world on dozens of major movies and over 135 episodes of television. In motion pictures, he has personally doubled A-listers the likes of Bradley Cooper, Miles Teller, and Paul Rudd to name a few. On the small screen the names include Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Sean Teale and Seth MacFarlane among many others.
