After growing up in the beautiful Australian countryside Joel moved to NYC where he performed in The Skin Of Our Teeth, in the role Montgomery Clift originated on Broadway.
Most notably, he dropped his weight to 121 lbs to play a Methamphetamine addict in Travis Jenkins (2013), played a lead in Lionsgate's Open Water 3: les abîmes de la terreur (2017) and traveled to the island of Saipan to star in Seven Days (2019) alongside three of China's biggest movie stars.
Joel's also becoming an increasingly sought after and successful screenwriter & producer and has recently had a Marilyn Monroe inspired screenplay optioned by Heart Sleeve Productions and sold a water-based thriller to Sony Pictures.
