Cara Yeates is a Canadian filmmaker based in New York. Her award-winning narrative short, "Gone Before Your Eyes," is available on PBS and has received ten awards, including winning the Leiden International Film Festival's Extraordinary Shorts Competition. She produced "The New Yorker Theater: A Talbot Legacy," a short documentary that has screened at Il Cinema Ritrovato, DC/DOX, and the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, as well as "Stut," a pilot that was a part of the Tribeca Film Festival.
Yeates is the partner at Trigger Creative, a boutique production company known for crafting globally produced content for clients such as Morgan Stanley, Michelob, Ford, and Delta. She began her career in theatre, writing and touring four acclaimed one-woman shows across North America, praised as "blistering," "a tour-de-force," and "irresistible." She has also worked with Film at Lincoln Center on the New York Film Festival and with MoMA Film on New Directors/New Films.
