Earlier this year, Full Moon founder Charles Band announced that his company was launching a new production label called Pulp Noir, which will focus on “edgier, weirder, darker horror and dark fantasy films.” They also set up a Patreon account where fans can subscribe and show their support for the company while getting a behind-the-scenes look at the making of these films. The first movie in the Pulp Noir line, a female serial killer story called Quadrant, received a Blu-ray, DVD, limited edition VHS, and streaming release on August 23rd – and the second Pulp Noir movie, Death Streamer, is following close behind! A trailer for the film can be seen in the embed above. Update: Since this article was first posted, Full Moon has announced that Death Streamer will be receiving the same type of release Quadrant was given, with its release date being October 11th!

Mockumentaries have long been a respected form of entertainment, garnering more popularity the more outlandish their subject material gets. Izzy Lyon: The Unspun Truth is following in the time-honored footsteps of Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping and Borat by digging deep into the life and times of a totally fictional yet fascinating historical figure. In this case, the subject in question is world-famous sign spinner Izzy Lyon, who disappears after a rollercoaster ride of a career.
Izzy Lyon: The Unspun Truth begins in the 1980s, as one man (played by real-life spinner Larry Fuller) gracefully wields his sign to stardom. The mockumentary comedy follows his exploits from his meteoric rise to his supposed downfall, charting his scandals and secrets along the way. Audiences will be transported inside the life of “the Picasso of Sign Spinning” (according to Walter Cronkite), thanks to archival footage and exclusive interviews that uncover everything...

"Is there a presence here with us in this house?" Freestyle Digital Media has released an official trailer for Curse of Aurore, a found footage paranormal horror film from filmmaker Mehran C. Torgoley. This meta horror film is about writers working on a script. A thumb drive from the dark web reveals disturbing footage documenting three American filmmakers on a script writing trip to rural Quebec. "My goal was to elevate the found footage genre by making the viewer not just a voyeur, but to feel like they are an active participant in the supernatural events of the film," says Mehran. The cast includes Llana Barron, Lex Wilson, Jordan Kaplan, Agathe Salzmann, Casey Nolan, Roxane Delisle, and Mike D. Smith. Despite the attempt to make this unique, this doesn't look unique at all. Might be fun for ghost horror fans, but that's it. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Mehran C.
