She debuted on 2007, voicing young Kyosuke Tsutsumi in the ef: a tale of memories anime.

She has one younger brother.

In August 2014, she took a month off from voice acting. The reason was to have a polyp removed from her throat. The polyp itself had been there since 2012, and since it was in the high-pitched range, it made it difficult for her to sing high notes and her voice was hoarse.

Although she was born in Aomori, she spent her life in Tokyo.

She and her fellow voice actors Ai Kayano, Hisako Kanemoto, and Chinatsu Akasaki, who were all born in the same year, call themselves the "87 Club" and go on trips together.
