    • Jan grew up on an old farm on the coast of Cornwall, United Kingdom. He is one of four siblings, born to an American mother and British father, of primarily Greek, Russian, Scottish, and Eastern European descent.

From a young age, Jan developed a passion for the performing arts, including card magic and music, especially the guitar. He pursued his love for music and theater, securing a coveted spot at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood through a competitive audition process. While completing his degree in Acting for Theatre and Film, Jan's performances caught the attention of an agent during a show of Noel Coward's Present Laughter, directed by Ian Ogilvy.

Jan has appeared in several television and film productions, with notable credits including the USA/Japan-produced biopic Leonie (2010), where he portrayed the renowned artist Isamu Noguchi. In this film he appeared alongside acclaimed actresses Emily Mortimer and Christina Hendricks.

Jan's growth as a musician was shaped by early exposure to various musical genres, particularly jazz and blues. Now an advanced guitarist, he has developed a style that blends soulful blues with intricate jazz rhythms, drawing influences from a wide range of other genres. His musical talents have led him to perform at prestigious venues, including the iconic Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles.

In addition to his performing arts career, Jan is a professional photographer and designer. His works have been published in respected publications including National Geographic Traveller and The Sunday Times. He also served as Vice President for several years at a successful American company, and lived in Central Europe, where he began work on his own company intending to donate a portion of the proceeds to environmental causes.

A firm believer in continuous self-improvement and lifelong learning, Jan pursues his artistic endeavors alongside his interests in science, philosophy, psychology, economics, and a deep connection with the outdoors and nature. He is an avid surfer, skier, mountain biker, and runner. A health food enthusiast and keen reader, Jan is also writing his own dramatic stage play. He is a strong advocate for environmental awareness, protection, and wildlife conservation.

Jan is a student of the esteemed Warner Loughlin Studios, a private acting school in Hollywood, where he continues to hone his craft.
