    • Mark Noyce is an English actor, writer, film director, producer and former world martial arts champion. Noyce appeared on the martial arts scene in the early 1980's competing in both the fighting and Kata divisions.

      Noyce was born in Peterborough, England, the son of May Doreen (Bayford) and William Charles Albert Noyce. Noyce began training in the Lau Gar style of Kung-Fu at the age of 6 after his father had seen Enter the Dragon starring Bruce Lee.

      He retired from competitive martial arts at the age of 24 as world forms champion to become an actor.

  • Noyce is noted for being an animal rights activist and strict vegetarian.
  • When writing he often names key characters after family members. In his directorial debut On the Ropes (2011), the characters Keith Kraft (played by Mark Noyce) and Mick Western (Ben Shockley) are named after his uncles and the character Arthur (played by Ben Dover) is after his grandfather.
  • Made his directorial debut with the comedy feature On the Ropes (2011).
  • He has several tattoos, one of his Dog (a Jack Russell named Milo) on his chest, his wife's names on his stomach and a rose on his calf in tribute to his grandmother.
