Damir Cosic was born on June 22nd 1986 in Zenica, a small town in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He moved to Germany and became a German citizen. When he was 5 years old he went to school until his high school exam. During the school he discovered his passion for acting and entertaining the people. One of his first acting experiences were on stage of his high school in Frankfurt. He portrayed the character Puck in William Shakespeares "Midsummernightsdream". From then on he decided to devote his life to acting. Soon theater performances such as another William Shakepeare adaptation of "Hamlet" at the world famous acting house in Frankfurt "schauspielhaus Frankfurt" followed. He even stepped into the feet of his idol Robin Williams and took on a leading female role as the fake aunt in Brandon Thomas's funny play "Charley's aunt" and in a Halloweenshow at the castle Frankenstein in Darmstadt he even fulfilled his childish dream which is portraying DC's the Clown Prince of Crime himself- The Joker. He payed tribute to the late Heath Ledger who became immortal with his performance as the beloved psychopath, wrote and starred in his own original skit about this incredible character. A lot more plays followed. Movies and TV performances followed like Germany's most famous crime series "Tatort" where he had many supporting roles. His most iconic one was the Russian inmate Sergey. After he finished high school he decided to move to Los Angeles to study acting at the world famous "The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute" in Hollywood. He successfully finished his studies in 2008 and became a talented "method" actor. During his studies he appeared in theater plays and movies where he not only gained experience on stage and behind the camera but also grew as an actor and artist. In 2005 he meet his mentor and teacher Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, a world famous kick boxing champion and a respected actor and stunt choreographer in the industry, who taught him everything he needed to know about acting, fighting on camera and on stage, martial arts and stunt work such as safety on the set, wires, car stunts, high falls etc. Soon he became a lifetime student of his teacher sensei Benny "The Jet" Urquidez and is being trained in kick boxing and the Ukidokan system. Damir Cosic soon became a stunt actor who understood how to combine his acting with his martial art abilities. He even started teaching Film Fighting to becoming actors. In 2015 Damir Cosic also successfully finished his second acting studies at the Stage & Musical School in Frankfurt, Germany. Damir Cosic soon discovered another passion, which he shares with his Idol- the late Robin Williams. Comedy! And soon he started writing his own little skits and acts and started performing in front of a growing audience.
