An Honours BFA from Ryerson University, independent filmmaker, actor and stuntman, Tyler has found success in the advertising world as a director for Untitled Films and in the narrative world as a stunt performer and fight coordinator on hit shows such as "See," "The Boys" and "The Terminal List."
Tyler has directed, shot and edited projects for dozens of top brands. "Go Ask Dad" for Gillette brought home a Bronze Lion at Cannes 2016. His Molson Canadian spots earned awards at every major show in Canada. His star-studded MasterCard Priceless Surprises earned him top picks from Creativity and Adage.
His 2012 short film "All-In" screened at festivals in Los Angeles, Toronto, New York, Las Vegas, Grand Rapids and Boston, earning multiple award wins and nominations.
His 2019 short film "Sky So Blue" screened at the Buffalo Dreams film fest and the Blood in the Snow film fest, where it earned a nomination for "Best Short Film".
Most recently Tyler was a core member of the stunt teams for Guillermo Del Toro's "Frankenstein" and season 2 of Amazon Prime's "The Terminal List."
