Maurice Nash was born to a British father, Thomas Stephen Nash, a retired British Ambassador, and a Colombian mother, Maria Eugenia Cerón, an artisan. With a bilingual upbringing, Maurice spent his primary school years in Colombia and Belize, experiencing the rich cultures of Latin America while traveling occasionally to England. He continued his education in England, attending boarding school in Kent for his secondary education.
Maurice pursued his passion for acting at L.A.M.D.A. (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art), the UK's oldest drama school, where he honed his craft.
In early 2025, Maurice completed filming a Vietnamese feature film, where he stars as the main villain, "Robert - The Lord of the Island." The film is set for release in 2025. The director is Dao Duy Phuc, written by Dao Thuy Trang and produced by Vietnam Feature Film Studio.
Maurice also portrays "Detective Richard Dennehy" in the anticipated mini-series The Land of Smiles by director Harald Frankling and produced by Avalon Media, to be released in 2025.
Maurice also appeared as "Ryan Sutherland," the second lead, in the action feature film "The Glorious Seven," released in 2019 and later acquired by Amazon Prime.
After living in London, Maurice relocated to Spain, where he spent several years before moving to Vietnam where he lives. In Vietnam, he has written several short films, created mobile short films, and is working on his own feature-length screenplay. He is actively seeking new acting challenges across Asia.
Beyond acting, Maurice is a black belt in Karate, a certified Hatha Yoga and Meditation teacher, a scuba diver, and a Tai Chi practitioner. He enjoys horse riding, traveling, and exploring new cultures, continually enriching his life experiences both on and off the screen. Maurice is fluent in English, Spanish (Colombian Accent) and has a high communication level of Vietnamese and is still doing lessons. He also speaks some French.
