These are just some of the former lives Wendi Bazar has lived on her journey to the present.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Wendi began her acting career as a member of a professional short form improv group; from there, she traveled the country on the dinner theatre circuit, appearing in musicals like Mame and Funny Girl. She got married, had kids, and became a licensed nail technician in between shows. Then she began doing on camera work, and eventually transitioned into voice overs. She's voiced hundreds of broadcast and industrial projects ranging from training modules for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to national radio commercials to international video game hero characters.
When life demanded more predictability, she finished her undergraduate degree in Journalism/Mass Communication, became a FINRA registered securities representative, and worked in the financial services industry while she completed her Master's degree in Special Education at night. Wendi taught students with a wide variety of strengths, talents, and challenges, and found that her forte was working with elementary and middle school students with moderate to severe emotional/behavioral disorders.
Today, Wendi is out of the classroom and in Los Angeles - on set, and in the recording booth. And while she may no longer be a teacher, an adviser, or a nail tech, she'll always be a proud Cheesehead. Go Pack, Go!
