Bert Kreischer Explains Why He’s Always Shirtless
Image
Will Bert Kreischer ever be able to do stand-up without ripping off his shirt? Jimmy Kimmel was thinking ahead, wondering if an 80-year-old Kreischer would be “performing at the Orleans in Vegas like (Don) Rickles did” and stripping away his button-down like a dancer at the Peppermint Hippo.

First, replied Kreischer, Kimmel is pretty optimistic if he thinks the topless comic will live to 80. But if he makes it, yep, the comedian will be letting it all hang out. “I'm going to take it off for the rest of my life,” he explained. “I kind of painted myself in this corner.”

But for God’s sake, why? The reason is as simple as the explanation for why Kreischer refuses to wear boxer shorts. (There’s another image to burn into your brain.) “The problem is I’m tactile,” he told Kimmel. “I’m more comfortable with no shirt, no underwear.

The Rock Launches Music-Inspired Workout Gear Collection With Under Armour
Image
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is no stranger to music, having tested out his vocal chops on the Moana soundtrack and starred in movies with the likes of Nick Jonas and Ludacris. But the actor and entrepreneur says his latest project is his most musically-inspired yet.

Johnson and Under Armour have released their latest Project Rock collection, dubbed “The Iron Paradise Tour.” Under Armour says the collection of men’s and women’s workout apparel and accessories is inspired by classic rock and roll, and The Rock’s love of music.

Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad (2008)
Better Call Saul Recap: Good-bye, Charlie Hustle
Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad (2008)
Has it been ten weeks already? I admit I feel a little sentimental writing this, having just finished “Marco,” an episode that I think in certain places was meant for sentimentality yet, in other places — like all of Saul and Breaking Bad — flew so righteously in the face of sentiment that it sometimes seemed almost cruel. In any case, deep breath, adjust the tie, and here we are: Illinois again, ten years earlier, dim sports bar, afternoon or some other unsociable time to be drinking. Jimmy walks in wearing a paisley shirt and faintly feathered hair, looking like a fourth-string roadie in charge of extension cords for Ram Jam, or someone who kept track of Dirk Diggler’s dry cleaning. Marco, his con partner, is naturally happy to see him — after all, from his simple perch, Jimmy beat his rap. Jimmy explains that it isn’t simple: Without Chuck’s intervention,...

Archer Season 6 Teaser Finds Everyone Getting Back To Work
After an excellent and completely insane season-long detour in the form of Archer Vice, the Isis gang returns to the office in the upcoming sixth season of the animated FX spy comedy Archer, though they will no longer be working for an organization called Isis. And while the season premiere isn’t until January, the first teaser for season six has landed online, reminding us all that Ram Jam used to be a thing.

In all seriousness, it’s going to be great to see Archer return to form after the madness of Archer Vice. There are definitely some changes afoot, as seen in the parts of the teaser that check in with Lana and Cyril, both of whom had their lives changed pretty dramatically by the events of season five. For better or for worse, though, it looks like Archer, Pam, Cheryl, Ray, Krieger and Mallory remain virtually unchanged...

Darren Aronofsky at an event for 2009 Golden Globe Awards (2009)
The Gospel According to Darren Aronofsky
Darren Aronofsky at an event for 2009 Golden Globe Awards (2009)
Over the course of a nearly-20-year filmmaking career, Darren Aronofsky has made movies about deranged mathematicians, drug addicts, doctors, down-on-their-luck athletes and dancers. When it was announced in 2007 that the Brooklyn-born director would be taking on Noah — the story of a man, a flood and one very angry deity — you could hear the scratching of heads. The man who showed us Jared Leto and Jennifer Connelly shooting up in Requiem for a Dream was making the first big-budget, A-lister–helmed biblical project since Mel Gibson's 2004 The Passion of the Christ?...

Johnny Depp at an event for Waiting for the Barbarians (2019)
Exploring Johnny Depp's Fall From Gonzo Grace
Johnny Depp at an event for Waiting for the Barbarians (2019)
Remember when Johnny Depp was cool? Take your time. Perhaps you haven't seen true Depp coolness since 2001's George Jung biopic "Blow," which saw the actor strut through an airport to the tune of Ram Jam's "Black Betty." Or maybe your last dose of genuine Depp mystique came from 2003's "Once Upon a Time in Mexico," in which the third-billed (!) player stole the spotlight as a blinded CIA agent, who used a young boy as his seeing-eye shooter ("Send him to fucking Broadway," went the still-rebellious star's most memorable line). But odds are the last time Depp charmed you with his powerhouse, offbeat allure was at the close of that very same year, when his rollicking, frolicking turn as Captain Jack Sparrow in the first "Pirates" film had him swimming in the uncharted waters of awards-season politics. At the time, Depp seemed to be at the core of a holy trinity,...

Mad Men (2007)
Matthew Weiner Explains Betty Draper, Mad Men's "Melancholy Dame"
Mad Men (2007)
By Mad Men's fifth season, Betty Draper had walked out of our lives, and a much plumper Betty Francis had waddled in. The audience response to this swollen version of a once-slender character: a collective cringe. Suddenly Betty became a joke. In no time, a parody of Ram Jam's "Black Betty" hit the Internet, spoofing the ice cream–guzzling former beauty queen as "Fat Betty." January Jones' character cameoed throughout the season as the Twitterverse wondered, Do we still have to pay attention to Betty now that she's no longer married to Don Draper? And fat? "I think people were shocked she was still on the show," Mad Men creator and executive producer Matthew Weiner concurred in a recent sit-down at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. She'd becom...

The Mad Men “Fat Betty” Remix Is Easily Betty Draper’s Greatest Moment
In honor of the somewhat-unexpected Fat Betty Draper plotline from Season 5 of Mad Men, here’s a short tribute-remix of Ram Jam’s 70s-rocker “Black Betty” seamlessly repurposed as “Fat Betty”. I apologize for our somewhat lacking Mad Men coverage the past two weeks, but it just ain’t the same without Michelle here (and I spend my Sunday nights frantically Photoshopping Throne-boobs), but I’ve also loved this Mad Men season so far, and hopefully this video brings you up to speed. It’s highly informative. This is probably the dumbest thing I’ve laughed very hard at since the Jurassic Park melodica theme: (Thanks, @erocknophobia!)...

2 Disc 'Eastbound & Down' Soundtrack On The Way Featuring Black Keys, The Stooges, MC5, Kenny Rogers & More
Well, Kenny fucking Powers will be pitching his last innings in "Eastbound & Down" as the show winds up its third and final season with a only a few more episodes to go. But you'll still have the opportunity to keep that good time feeling going all summer long.

Fat Possum Records is set to drop a nice two-disc soundtrack to the series, featuring a handful of songs played through the show's twenty-one episodes. No surprise, this one is heavy on the rock 'n roll with tracks from folks like The Black Keys, The Stooges, MC5, The Animals, Ram Jam and more. There is a bit of country lovin' with Kenny Rogers and Lee Hazelwood, some hip hop with Too Short and 'Lil Wyte and even an obscure R&B tune by Brenton Wood.

Finer retails will carry the collection on April 24th. Full tracklist below. [Prefix]

‘Jackass 3D’ rating the complete list of stunts
Jackass 3D dominated the box office for its opening weekend making more than $50 million. Even though it looks like this could be the last (with the closing credits looking back at the previous years), it seems there could be room for more jackassery in the future.

Click Here for compete Jackass 3D coverage including reviews and interviews with the cast

But let’s not talk about the future. We’re here to attempt to list every single stupid stunt Jackass 3D has to offer. I probably need your help as I’ve only seen the film once. So please, if you notice a moment is missed or labeled wrong let me know.

Your other job … simply copy the entire list, paste it into the “comments” and on a scale of 1-10, rate the stunts.

Watch Jake’s Takes with him interviewing all of the guys

Plot: A collection of outrageous stunts as performed by the crew from the former MTV show “Jackass.”

Who’S It For? Even if you’re familiar with the Jackass ethos, the chances are still very high that at least a couple of scenes will gross you out, or even prove to be unbearable.

Expectations: It’s been almost five years since the fittingly titled Jackass: Number Two. I was prepared for more gross-outs and shocks, but mostly more laughs. I had hoped that the time away would be evident to more clever, immediately funny stunt segments.

Scorecard (0-10)

Talking: Contrary to their macho, I-will-do-anything mentality, these guys are not robots.

The 2010 Baseball At-Bat Music All Stars
The streak is over! On Tuesday night (July 13), the National League broke an incredible streak of futility and topped the American League by a score of 3-1 in the 2010 Major League Baseball All Star Game. In winning the Midsummer Classic, the National League will now have home field advantage at this year's World Series. Though Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann walked away as the Mvp of the game (his three-run double represented all of the offense for his squad), there were also great performances from New York Mets third baseman David Wright, Chicago Cubs outfielder Marlon Byrd and pitchers Ubaldo Jimenez, David Price, Matt Capps and Jonathan Broxton. It was an excellent game, especially if you like pitching, as there were a tremendous number of strikeouts spread across nine innings.

Members of the baseball All Star teams are selected via fan voting, player recommendations and manager selections. But really, each...

DVD Tuesday: 'The Wrestler', 'Frost/Nxon', 'Notorious': Watch the clips
Sci-fi, the Ram Jam, Biggie and yet another version of Sin City. It's definitely Tuesday and here are the DVD releases for today, April 21st.

In Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler, witness Mickey Rourke's reemergence as one of Hollywood's most charismatic actors. Rourke plays the hard luck case and semi-pro wrestler Randy "The Ram Robinson. No longer the draw he was during his hey-day in the 1980's, Robinson is forced to come to turns with his aging body, his non-existent relationship with his estranged daughter and his love life.

The Wrestler earned two Golden Globe wins including best acting for Mickey Rourke. It was also nominated for two Academy Awards. (He was robbed.) Here's my review.

Also out today is Notorious, the biopic of the late rapper Christopher “The Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace. The film stars Jamal Woolard, Angela Bassett and Derek Luke. Released earlier this year, Notorious received mixed reviews.

Wrestler vidgame
Pardon the misleading headline, but this is not actually announcing development of a videogame that will allow players to drop the Ram Jam on various spandex-clad digital opponents. Not yet, anyway... It is, however, of interest to anyone with an appreciation for Mickey Rourke's comeback vehicle The Wrestler, and fans of 8-bit gaming entertainment. Kotaku has a cool article telling the story behind "Wrestle Jam '88", the old-school game that Randy "The Ram" plays with his...

The Real Ram Jam
Show me someone who doesn’t like Darren Aronofsky’s ode to losers The Wrestler and I’ll show you a turd in need of a superplex. My one complaint, however, is that Mickey Rourke’s Randy “The Ram” Robinson’s patented move - the Ram Jam - is in danger of eclipsing one of the great ‘70s guitar acts of all time. To that end, we present to you the according-to-wikipedia controversial (I never listened to the lyrics before) guitar hit “Black Betty” by Ram Jam. I like a band that says its own name in their songs. Rappers do that a lot, too. Added value:...
