Their breakthrough hit, "Come and Get it' (#4 US Pop), was written by Paul McCartney for the Peter Sellers film Un Beatle au paradis (1969).

Members have included Pete Ham, Tom Evans, Mike Gibbins, Joey Molland.

The title to one of the band's songs, Midnight Caller (from their second album, No Dice), was used for the television series Jack Killian, l'homme au micro (1988), series creator Richard Di Lello had previously done promotional campaigns for the band during the time they were signed to Apple Corps (Di Lello had worked in Apple's press office).
