Charissa Barton is a choreographer, director, and producer best known for creating the viral opening title sequence of James Gunn's hit HBO series Peacemaker. Her work spans television, film, and live performance, blending cinematic storytelling with a deep foundation in dance and movement.
A Juilliard-trained artist and former dancer with Parsons Dance Company, Charissa has performed and created work at world-renowned venues including the Sydney Opera House, City Center (NYC,) Maison de la Danse, and Teatro La Fenice. Her choreography and direction have appeared on HBO/Max, Netflix, SyFy, and in theatrical productions across the US. Her collaborators include Julie Taymor, David Parsons, Aszure Barton, Robert Battle, Alan Tudyk, and Danielle Brooks.
Beyond the performing arts, she has led major creative and philanthropic initiatives-co-founding Axis Connect, serving as President of SQ Foundation, and launching One Love Fund, a global charitable effort she runs with her husband, Alan Tudyk.
