Karen E. Wright Co-stars in an episode on Matlock for CBS (streaming on Paramount +). She also Co-stars in Alex Cox's feature length movie Dead Souls. Other credits include Colonel Wolford in another Alex Cox film (Repo Man, Sid & Nancy), Repo Chick. She also appeared as
Magda Lovison, in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
She also co-stared in a sketch with Chelsea Handler on the Chelsea Lately Show.
Soon to be released she is co-star in The Last Brown Beret, feature film, produced by Del Zamora (Repo Man, True Blood).
Stage trained in NYC, she began her career touring in the lead role of Maria in Theatre Works USA's musical production of Lady Liberty.
As a trained singer she also appeared in numerous NYC clubs as Cherilyn Horner in The Idolls, produced by Peitor Angell (Frixion Records).
Karen studied Meisner at NYC's Gately Poole Studios and completed training at The Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. She trained privately with vocal teachers: Rita Altay (NYC Met) and Richard Hilty (NYC Richard Hilty Vocal Studios).
More recently, Karen is the lead actress in several mega hit music videos; YNW Melly's 223, and King Von's Took Her To The O. As well as the voice as Joan Didian for PBS.
